Presenter Bio
Public Safety Consultants was founded in 2006 by its current CEO, Robert (Bob) Greenlaw. Bob was the founder and first Director of New Jersey’s first joint meeting consolidated regional dispatch center in 1994. In 1999, that center became the first communications center in the nation to be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). Bob also founded the Public Safety Communications Accreditation Support Network (PSCASN) and served as its first President. He also served as the first Communications Commissioner ever appointed to the prestigious CALEA Commission serving three 3-year terms and was elected as the Board Secretary. He then went on to consolidate communications centers in Blaine County, Idaho (Sun Valley and surrounding area) and Delaware County, Ohio immediately north of Columbus. Public Safety Consultants provides communications consulting throughout the US and in Canada. The ASAP to PSAP program presented herein is an exciting program in our mission to promote excellence in the public safety communications sector. ASAP to PSAP provides an opportunity to assist with staffing shortages, reduce errors and efficiently and quickly dispatch alarm calls. It is especially advantageous during periods of excessive call volume such as during severe weather.
