Program Description

We'll discuss the dynamic and evolving challenges facing 911 Centers regarding Mental Health Crisis Calls. Critical research and resource development is being done to ensure that "help is on the way" to assist Agencies with formulating their best possible approach to response planning. We'll take a look at solutions, tools, and resources that are available today, as well as others being created that are coming soon!   

Presenter Bio

Meridith Jensen has more than 15 years of experience in the Public Safety industry. Nick-named "Meri-death" by her fellow dispatchers, she found her niche processing dynamic emergency calls using Police, Fire & Medical ProQA. She has been teaching, installing, and troubleshooting ProQA & AQUA for Priority Dispatch since 2011. Meridith is also a triple discipline Quality Assurance Instructor, Software Instructor & Installer, and now serves as a subject matter expert as an Implementations Specialist with Priority Dispatch. Meridith is very passionate about Emergency Dispatching, she truly loves supporting dispatch centers and the communities they serve around the globe.
